About

Much can be learned from the writing of children. If kids write about how great their teachers are, it's likely the school has great teachers. If the kids write about how fun it is to always be outside, it's likely an environment where it is safe and enjoyable to be outside. Here we have several children who have written about what they like about La'ie.

We did the Poi-balls too. I was excited when my family was there. I was happy when it was our turn. I was nervous about my family being there."

"I love Laie because of the beautiful beaches, the forests, and all the animals! Most of all, the people that I know, my cousins, friends, neighbors, and much much more! I'm happy that I'm coming home, I will also miss some people here in Texas, but still I'm very happy because I'm coming home!"

Guinivere - On Moving Back to La'ie

"Aoha I am excited to go back to Laie because I get to see my cousin Tia and to play with Tia. I'm in 1st grade and lost two teeth and I'm 6 years old and I get to have a sleepover and to go the beach and wear flip flops and get to see who is in my new class and school. I love Laie because it is warm and I want to tell you that I'm having fun in Texas and I want to show you what I look like."
